London / Mumbai — October 10, 2025: Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced that the United Kingdom will soon become a major destination for Bollywood film productions, following a landmark trade and cultural deal with India signed this week.
Speaking during his three-day visit to Mumbai, Starmer said the agreement goes beyond trade and defense, highlighting the UK’s growing creative partnership with India. “The next Bollywood blockbuster could very well be made here in Britain,” Starmer declared, emphasizing the deal’s potential to “bring the world’s two great film industries together.”
